About Our Church



Lake City Christian Fellowship was established in 1990 in a small former Wesleyan church building that God lead us to by His Spirit. The building came open to us for a small amount of money. Even though we had no money; God provided. The Church began to grow by leaps and bounds. The Lord began to open more of the vision to us as He showed us what he wanted for his people and for the area.

He gave us the vision for a large facility, even gave down to the specific colors. This part of the vision came to me in the wee hours of the night. As the Lord woke me, He said, "Don't build it to look like Lake City, but to look like me." He began to tell me of the warmth of His heart, as He wrapped His arms around me. He showed me the color gold was the reflection of the warmth of his heart, and it would be a very comforting and inviting color. He said He wanted people to feel this comfort and love when the walked into our church. The Lord also instructed us to put a lot of greenery in the church, as green represents his life in us.

Additionally, he told us to put stacked stone in the church. The stacked stone would represent how the body of Christ is uniquely fitted together. Each one different, but having it's unique purpose. In all areas of the building, the beauty of the Lord is seen. Even more, you feel God's love and His Spirit from the people. Those that He has brought to this fellowship truly have the heart of God in them, and they know who they are in Christ.
